Thanks to the pivoting display and the 3-sided LED strip, you always have an overview – and from a distance in the signal colors green, yellow and red! The power cards with external heat sinks are easy to replace and ensure optimum heat dissipation. With our high-quality connectors, we guarantee maximum power requirements for every zone, even at elevated operating temperatures.

Machine connection via OPC UA

According to the new standard protocol for hot runner controllers – Euromap 82.2 – the MCS hot runner controller provides various information, which can be divided into status information, general information and determined process data. The hot runner controller can be parameterized by the injection moulding machine, including operating modes, setpoints, alarm limits and the heating process. Euromap 82.2 thus enables almost complete adjustment of all process-relevant parameters via the injection molding machine’s control system.

Thermodynamic analysis

The thermodynamic analysis (TDA for short) compares the thermodynamic condition of your tool with a good condition previously saved as a reference. Possible differences are detected and damage or problems with the tool can be identified at an early stage. For you, this means maximum safety and effective maintenance of your tools.

Operation / Communication

Whether you opt for the integrated touch displays in 7“ or 10” or prefer to use an external touch monitor in 15“ or 19” – the choice is yours. But that’s not all: you can even control the controller directly from your injection molding machine or notebook/tablet via VNC. Control up to 480 zones in a device network

Connect several MCS hot runner controllers via Ethernet and use them as one device. With up to 480 zones, you can implement complex applications and make all settings centrally from one controller. Setting up the controller network is extremely simple and is explained step by step. Our user-friendliness is always our top priority – even inexperienced personnel can operate the controller safely.

Chart recorder

The chart recorder allows you to analyze the control behavior of zones by displaying the process values actual value, setpoint and output level over time in a clear chart. It provides insights into the performance of the respective zone and is therefore used for efficient optimization. The chart recorder is an indispensable tool for precise control analysis.

Individual zone display

The operator has the option of selecting from a large number of process values which are to be displayed in the zone display. This allows the zone display to be customized for each application. It is also possible to filter the display to certain groups and inactive zones in order to hide certain zones.
